Once I'm in Toledo, how do I get to the Retreat?

Dark line = Driving Route from Secor
Red line = Walking Route from Parking to Union
Red stars = Parking, Alt. Parking, and Student Union

Finding a place to Park

You are now on Secor headed South toward the UT campus. You will go through several lights, including Central Ave. When you hit Bancroft (one of those funky Toledo 5-way intersections), turn left. You are now actually on the campus map shown above. At the very first light after turning onto Bancroft (Campus Dr.), turn right. You will come to a stop sign. The parking lot is ahead of you to the right. Find a place to park (not a meter!).

If for some reason parking is full (it is homecoming weekend), try the alternate lot. To do this, head back out Campus Dr. to Bancroft. Take a right at the light onto Bancroft. Keep in the right lane. At the main entrance to campus (you really can't miss this), there will be a light. Turn right into campus. Go straight at the stop sign. At the next stop sign, turn left and cross the bridge (watch out for pedestrians here!). There will be a parking lot on your right. If you can't find a space here, I suggest striking out on your own.

Walking to the Student Union

You found a place to park! Great! Now, where's that pesky Union? If you parked in the first lot, it's easy to find. Follow the red line (on the map, not the sidewalk). Cross the end of Campus Dr. going out of the lot, and walk down the access road running between the ROTC building (you'll see a sign) to your right and a dorm to your left. At the end of this road is the Union. Walk around the Union to your right, between the Union and the library. Go up the very large set of stairs on the outside of the Union to enter on the second floor. Tada! You're there!

If you parked in the alternate lot, walk back across the bridge you just drove across. Turn left and start looking for the library (very tall building). Right next to it is the Union. Take the very large set of stairs on the outside of the Union to enter on the second floor. Hooray! You made it!
